During the 2019 Festive season the McDonald’s tray mat became a lot more useful than just for catching spilled ketchup

We changed up the humble Trayliner into something McDonald’s customers would actually want to keep clean. Designed as a simple advent calendar customers could hold their phone over the tray mat and each day a door will open. What was behind each door? Games, AR filters, Christmas carols, as well as the chance to pull a cracker and win an Amazon gift card.
